CONTEST
HISTORY:
2005 London Ontario Championships, 3rd Heavyweight
Hello everyone, my name is Aaron Giberson, I was born and
raised in London Ontario, I’m an Aquarius, my favorite
colour is blue, I enjoy long walks on the beach...
Before I even got interested in bodybuilding, my main focus
was playing basketball. I grew up playing most competitive
sports like baseball, hockey, volleyball and especially basketball.
I ended up playing basketball for the University of Guelph
and had a couple great seasons before I ended up tearing my
ACL while preparing for my 3rd year of ball. It was a blessing
in disguise because it was in my re-hab that I realized that
I loved training more than anything. During my re-hab I just
simply feel in love with the whole bodybuilding lifestyle
(the training, the discipline, the focus, all the FOOD ….)
and when my knee was finally back to 100% I decided to pursue
bodybuilding rather than returning to play ball for my University.
I decided that I should probably go watch a few bodybuilding
shows first to see what they were all about and at my very
first show I went to watch I got the chance to met and talk
with the one and only Scott Abel. I grew up playing sports
and had great success because I always had a great coach to
push me, train me and more importantly to give me direction
on where to improve …. well I figured that if I was
going to succeed in bodybuilding I would need a coach by my
side as well so it was a no brainer in hiring Scott as my
trainer.
I’ve been with Scott for just over 3 years now and I’ve
seen tremendous results in my physique during that time. I
finally did my first bodybuilding show this past year (Oct.
2005) and with Scott in my corner I showed up in the best
condition of my life and ended up placing 3rd in the heavyweights.
I’m planning on doing my next show in 2007 and of course
with Scott still in my corner!!
I owe a tremendous thanks to Scott in helping me to continually
get one step closer to reaching my full potential - one day
at a time. Also, a huge thanks goes out to my friends and
family for supporting
me over the years and putting up with me while i dieted for
my show!!
