In 1997 I became interested in bodybuilding and competing and a dear friend of Scott and mine, Tommy Hall, suggested that I see Scott Abel. I found that it didn't matter how trivial my questions were, Scott took the time to answer them. In the end, Scott's training methods got me to where I am today.

After the Northern's, I had the priviledge of training with Scott as a partner. At the beginning, he took the time during the workouts to teach me the proper technique. As time went on, my training became more intense, my technique improved and he didn't have to break his break his stride to keep me staight. And the odd day we'd hobble out of the gym and he'd say "Great workout". And then later that day we would be back to the gym again.
