I have been involved in athletics my entire life. I have been training for the sports I have been involved in for about 18 years which have included football, track and field, wrestling, and most recently I begun training to learn an Israeli martial art (Krav Maga). The pinnacle of my athletic career was playing football at one of the most successful college football programs in the NCAA. Through that experience I have had many coaches and many strength coaches. I have had experience with great coaches. I always have tried to learn as much as possible about performance enhancement through training and nutrition to the point of majoring in exercise physiology and being obsessive about reading everything I could get my hands on. When I first read Coach Abel’s articles in late 2007 and began to learn more about his philosophy which made much more sense than anything I have ever learned previously. The more I learned the more I understood about what was missing from my current programs in order to achieve extraordinary results. I chose to get involved with Coach Abel’s coaching program and can tell you that after only 3 months of his coaching and guidance I have made improvements in my physiology and performance that I have never achieved before. I am in better shape and condition now than I had ever been prior to this. It definitely takes a commitment from the trainee to execute his plan appropriately but when that commitment is made Coach Abel will deliver the results you want. I have achieved my goals through very high intensity training sessions and a custom diet program made up of all whole foods – no supplements or pills or anything else and no traditional cardio which in my opinion sucks anyway. Coach Abel actually saved me from spending hundreds on supplements and saved me the time of obsessing over which training programs would be best to use for my goals. In addition, I am learning how to truly gauge the success of a program through the experience and the experience is what has been significantly understated in much of what I have read from other authors. Coach Abel knows what the hell he is doing through his experience of coaching clients to successful outcomes for years. This is not something that can just be obtained because you have a degree or a certification or picked up a book that explains how to train people. It is his invaluable experience that will guide you from average to extraordinary.
The best part of the experience has been reading his articles and book and watching his teaching DVD’s in order to learn his concepts and get a gauge on expectation levels then getting involved in the coaching program and executing his plan that delivered the exact results he discussed and displayed in his site. There was absolutely no bull shit. I hate bull shit and everything Coach Abel puts out there is real and is in the best interest of the trainee. For instance, when I had my first overfeed day on my diet it was just as he explained. I ate forever. It was like I had a bottomless pit in my stomach and was able to consume massive amounts of food. 2 days later my leanness level was unaffected. I had a morning workout that day and felt very strong and my arms were more vascular than I have ever seen them – like a damn roadmap – and I could still see some vascularity in my abdominals. It was freakin incredible. I love the workouts he develops because they achieve the goals set and are extremely challenging. I probably lose a pound of sweat every time I train. On the surface it seems like the programs are fairly strait forward but there is a level of complexity that lies beneath that which only Coach Abel can deliver. Everything in his programs has a purpose and it all works together in order to achieve the goals you have set. In summary, it is pretty damn cool to experience the results first hand that Coach explains on his site, in his writings, and on his DVD’s. The only regret I have is not finding Coach Abel about 18 years ago. If you decide to work with Coach Abel it will be an eye opening experience as to the significance of the impact an elite coach can deliver when the coach’s plan is executed properly. I am very excited about the process I have been through because the experience has been very different for me and I cannot wait to experience what lies ahead.

"I received the "ultimate figure" DVD yesterday and I am extremely impressed and very excited!! I was speaking to a very good friend of mine, who is a professional body builder about how bored I have become in the gym doing the same routine over and over again, and the boredom with weights and reps.
